Marie-Eve Rehayem

Ms. Marie-Eve Rehayem has been the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of BASF Canada since July, 2015.  She is a member of the BASF Canadian Leadership Team, and of the Canadian Executive Committee. Passionate about championing diversity and inclusion in the workplace, she also dedicates her time to the organization as the Executive Sponsor of both the Women in Business Group and the Diversity + Inclusion Council at BASF Canada.

Prior to joining BASF in 2009, Ms. Rehayem acted as legal counsel in the Canadian subsidiary of a German multinational conglomerate specializing in the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization.

Ms. Rehayem has been a speaker and/or panelist on legal topics, and on topics such as personal branding, gender equality, diversity and inclusion and unconscious bias.

Ms. Rehayem obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004. She also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.
