Phil has worked in the aerospace and defence industry for almost 40 years since graduating from Brighton University in England with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Phil joined Marinvent as VP Business Development in December 2011. Since that date, he has also taken up roles of VP Business Development for Marinvent’s Advanced Aerospace Solutions Joint Venture and for Marinvent’s sister company Certification Center Canada which was spun out in 2016. He is responsible for all front end of the business activities of the companies including marketing, sales, business development, program management and contracts for all three companies.

Phil takes industry participation and collaboration very seriously and is involved in numerous working groups and committees.

Phil’s prior experience includes senior roles with Embvue, Seaweed Systems, Presagis, Air Safety International and Thales.
